En colaboración con el Mercado Internacional de Animación 3D Wire, volvemos a organizar Plançó, el concurso de piezas de animación abierto a todos los estudiantes de universidades y escuelas de cine catalanas. Éstos presentan una pieza realizada en 2017 y animada como mínimo en un 80%, que puede ser un cortometraje, un videoclip, un anuncio o una commission film.
Los directores finalistas tendrán una acreditación gratuita para todo Mecal 2018 y sus títulos se proyectarán en el Museo de Diseño de Barcelona. El público asistente otorgará el premio al “Mejor Corto”, que consiste en el viaje, alojamiento, manutención y acreditación para una persona para la próxima edición de 3D Wire, una gran oportunidad ya que este es el mercado profesional de animación más importante de España, con lo que cuenta con una gran repercusión tanto a nivel nacional como europeo. Posteriormente a la proyección, se celebrará un encuentro de networking entre estudiantes y profesionales de la animación.
