The Sisters

The jury was unanimous in our decision for the top prize for the best documentary. We felt it embodied many qualities that worked together to create a beautifully nuanced look at the intersection of religious devotion and growing old. A harmonious combination of wonderfully filmed shots, composition, humour, philosophy, and sweet and profound senior moments made this film a stand out.
