Round table of female scriptwriters, in collaboration with ACIB (Associació de Cineastes de les Illes Balears)
The Bechdel test is a method of evaluating whether or not a film script (or other fictional work) meets the minimum standards to avoid gender inequality. With women credited as writers of just a 15% of films produced in Spain, it comes as no surprise that most films fail the test. With the collaboration of ACIB (Balearic Islands Filmmakers Association), we have invited successful female scriptwriters to participate in this round table, where they will share their experiences in this still very much male-dominated world, and will try to offer they keys to change it. With the participation of: Marga Melià, Marta Hierro and Laura Gost.
