OPEN CALL: Master the key communication techniques for Pitching

April 13th from 16h to 19h

Increasingly, pitching is gaining ground as a technique to present audiovisual projects in order to obtain funding. Production companies have become more and more interested in pitching sessions, leaving aside the traditional method of script reading. The aim of this activity is to help creators easily master key communication techniques when presenting and making a project attractive during a pitch.

The creators of the selected projects will receive advice from the following experts within the field:

  • Cristina Calvet: lawyer specializing in the field of Intellectual Property and other legal areas within the artistic and cultural industry. She is also a legal advisor for the AADPC.
  • Carmen Puche: director and writer. She is part of Estudio Puche, a company with a solid trajectory in editing and audiovisual production.
  • Pablo Menéndez: sales and communication manager for the shorts film distributor company Marvin & Wayne, which frequently manages to land selections in festivals such as Cannes, Sundance or Berlin.
  • Ruth Cantarero: short films buyer for RTVE, she works as well at Metrópolis, a weekly show about culture and contemporary art.
