In collaboration with the Swiss Consulate General, comes this talk/discussion on the opportunities offered by co-production, as well as its risks. There will be production professionals, both Swiss and Spanish. The aim of this activity is to exchange professional experiences and to provide tools for filmmakers and producers who want to start a new co-production, especially with Switzerland.

Belén Sánchez, works in Polar Star Films (Barcelona), an independent producer specialised in documentaries, ads, and short films. She has worked in a lot of international co-productions, such as  The Falciani List (2015) o Google And The World Brain (2013). She is currently working in a co-producer with Switzerland: Time is Money.

Eugenia Mumenthaler is the co-founder of ALINA FILMS (Geneva) and has specialised in art-house films, feature films and international co-productions. She has co-produced, among others, La idea de un lago (2016), Une jeunesse allemande, selected at Berlinale and nominated at the Césars.

Mar Medir, producer, is the coordinator of Catalan films&tv, the consortium dedicated to the diffusion of catalan audiovisual around the globe. She has worked in Perfume: Story of A Murder (2006) and has produced La plaga (2013), Las pequeñas cosas (2016) and Luisa no está en casa (2012).

Elisabeth Garbar works at Louise Productions (Lausanne), a produer specialized in documentaries and feature films. She has co-produced films such as Keeper (Festival de Locarno), Hiver nomade (Berlinale; Visions du Réel), and  L’escale (Quinzaine des Réalisateurs, Cannes).
