Aardman Animations is a world reference in stop motion, specifically in clay motion. Its story starts in the seventies, when Peter Lord and David Sproxton, university classmates, founded the studies in Bristol and started creating animation films as amateurs. Although their very first creations were born on the table of their kitchen, they soon started collaborating with the BBC and, with the incorporation of the animator Nick Park, from there to success.
During the four decades of its trajectory, they have won 4 Oscars, and have produced feature films, short films and series. They have brought to life the mythical characters of Wallace and Gromit and Shaun the Sheep, all part of the british pop imagery. In this special program, we invite you discover the less well-known Aardman, with a selection of very interesting but difficult to find shortfilms.
